Thought I’d give you a more detailed outline of my handstand warm-up.
The first part of the warm-up is from Tom Merrick @ TheBodyweightWarrior:
- Wrist Circles: grab wrist, roll wrist in one direction, then other
- First Knuckle Push-ups: raise palm only (against wall or table position)
- Wrist Push-up: start fist, unroll hands out, lower, then reverse (wall or floor)
- Wrist Rocks: roll fists forward/backwards, table position
- Wrist Extension #1: kneel, hands backward, palms down, pulse, last hold 10sec
- Wrist Extension #2: kneel, hands backward, rotate 180, pulse, last hold 10sec
- Wrist Flexion #1: kneel, hands backward, palms up, pulse, last hold 10sec
- Novel Wrist Movements:
- Hand Position #1: arm straight, palm down, fist up, unroll fingers up
- Hand Position #2: arm straight, palm down, roll fingers into fist
- Hand Position #3: arm straight, palm up, fist down, unroll fingers down
- Hand Position #4: arm straight, palm up, roll fingers into fist
- Hand Position #5: arm bent, palm down, fist up, unroll fingers up
- Hand Position #6: arm bent, palm down, roll fingers into fist
- Hand Position #7: arm bent, palm up, fist down, unroll fingers down
- Hand Position #8: arm bent, palm up, roll fingers into fist

- Finger Pulses: table position, palms off floor, pulse
- Side-to-Side Roll: table position, palms down, roll across palm at first knuckle
- Front Facing Elbow Rotations: palms down, table position, roll elbows forward
- Side-to-Side Stretch: hands pointed out, rock side-to-side lifting hand, table position
- Wrist Extension #3: kneel, forward facing, palms down, pulse, last hold 10sec
- Wrist Circles: squat position, grab wrist, roll wrist in one direction, then other
- Big Arm Circles Backward:

- Shoulder Flexion: engage core, raise arms
